Tis' the season!!!

We went to spend a few days with grandma and papa!! Heres Kayla hanging out under grandmas tree!! She loved when the little bear sang and moved around!!

Of course, I took kayla to see santa!!! She didn't seem to mind the big guy in red!!

She LOVES her bath so we figured we see how she did in the BIG bathtub!!

Well she didn't quite get the hang of blowing bubbles-rather shes now had a full helping of chlorine!! But, she did enjoy going down the slide, jumping from the side and yes--going under!!

Its been another crazy busy few weeks!! We are all just getting over a tough little bug!! The saying misery loves company was certainly true in our household!! Kayla tolerated her cold pretty well and as we discovered today--she was also cutting her THIRD tooth. A lot of such a little one to handle.

She is moving into veggies now--which she seems to enjoy much much much more then the cereals!! We are very happy to have something she actually enjoys eating!! And, we are trying to teach her how to drink out of a sippy cup!! This has proven to be more difficult then we thought--she sees it a just something else to chew on!!

Solids and Snow-- Oh My!!

Well, well, well-- six months came so quickly!! I have to say Kayla doesn't enjoy her new foods very much yet!! It has been fun but often very messy at meal times!! The kitties enjoy cleaning up anything that happens to fall to the ground!!

And, yes we got snow, well not really- but there was some on the ground, and like the 1st time mom that i am-- i took Kayla out and took some shots!!

Kayla's First Christmas Party!!

Yup you read correctly!! We had our first christmas party this weekend!!

My moms side of the family celebrates early as we have relatives who travel from the north--and if we wait too late--they may not be able to make it due to snow!!! (can you believe its that time of year again!!)

We had a great time--the tree--the food and don't forget

--the presents!! Kayla's not too sure what to think!!

After the christmas celebration it was back to Grandma and Papas for some R &R!!

As you can see there were lots of smiles to go around!!

Leaves and Critters

It has been a busy few days!! Kayla keeps changing everyday!!


Yesterday, I was in the kitchen and i turned around--and to my surprise--she was at the other end of the living room--she MUST have rolled!! I tired for some time to get her to do it again--but no luck!

She got together with some friends too!!
